About my experience and qualifications
<big
I have had extensive experience providing counselling and pyschotherapy to students in Further and Higher Education settings and I have also worked in the NHS and the YMCA providing counselling for their clients. For four years I managed a counselling service at a large Surrey college and worked with the support of other counsellors in counselling students and staff. Now I work in Private Practice from my home offering counselling and psychotherapy to adults.
I also work as a supervisor supporting counsellors in training and qualified counsellors in their client work.
My passion is empowering individuals to achieve their potential and I have a good understanding of juggling the demands of work and family.
Prior to qualifying as a Counsellor I worked as a Complementary Therapist for nearly 10 years and bring a truly holistic philosophy to my work. Whatever the person's circumstances, I take into account the 'whole person' as I believe strongly in the holistic idea of health - that our bodies, minds, emotions and spirits are inter-related and inter-dependant.
