Have you thought about having sometime for yourself:
... to explore your thoughts and feelings
... to get back on a track again
Have you thought of counselling?
I work in Tadworth which is close to Banstead, Epsom, Ewell, Sutton, Redhill, Dorking and Reigate.
You may be facing a challenging period, struggling to cope, experiencing painful emotions or just want to understand yourself a bit better and want to feel happier.
There can be times when life doesn’t feel ‘right’ or we feel weighed down by something. We may lead busy lives and tend to prioritise other’s needs, sometimes losing sight of our own.
We can feel overwhelmed, confused, anxious, lonely, powerless, depressed or unfulfilled and in emotional distress, but we may not wish to ‘burden’ others and perhaps believe we should ‘soldier on’.
Counselling and psychotherapy provides you with a space for you to talk about feelings that worry or upset you, to make sense of what is impacting on you now and to increase self awareness.
I offer individual counselling and psychotherapy for adults and supervision for qualified and trainee counsellors. Online counselling or face to face counselling is offered ensuring that I am adhering to current government guidelines regarding Covid-19
I am an experienced , qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists( BACP), the leading professional body for counselling and psychotherapy.
I have been privileged to have helped a significant number of people in improving their relationships and how they felt about themselves. Past clients have commented that "Penny has really helped me see a way forward and I feel like I have a future now" (RH) and "I really felt valued and listened to and it was obvious that Penny really cared" (AF).
Where do I work?
I practice from Tadworth which is easily accessible from Banstead, Epsom, Ewell, Sutton, Dorking, Redhill and Reigate.
I offer evening and daytime sessions times to fit in with your commitments.
Counselling and Psychotherapy tailored to your needs.
Having worked as a counsellor within the NHS and community counselling services I understand how difficult it can be to get support when it is most needed. We can discuss the number of counselling sessions that will help you best, from a few sessions to support you with a particular issue, or regular sessions where you feel you would benefit from longer term support.
Free Self Help Guides
Feel free to download the client self- help guides. They are free and client's usually find them very helpful. Also there are sections on anxiety, depression and stress symptoms if you are interested in finding out more about them.
